It wasn’t until I became a mother myself that I truly understood the depth of that struggle. With my first daughter, I was told I “had to” go through a series of interventions to give birth. I was left confused, powerless, and like I didn’t have a voice in what happened to my own body. That experience shook me to my core and took a huge toll on my mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. 

When we hired a postpartum doula, everything shifted. She walked alongside me with compassion, guided me to advocate for myself, and reminded me that caring for my own needs was not selfish, but essential. Her support changed my life.

Today, I bring both my personal journey and professional training into my work as a childbirth educator and doula.
